I'm kind of a beginner with guitar, but I could probably do it if I practiced a lot.
Edit: BTW my sis is REALLY really good at piano if you ever needed a pianist.

I'm skilled with a guitar, and I could join considering the other scratch band never posts and stuff. But I must ask: what genre music will we play?

Multiple genres. I'm planning on making our song selection very diverse. BUt if you have a certain one in mind that would be okay.

Mm... I'm not sure if I am able to write some lyrics at this moment in time, but I'm not going to say that I am or not. Just.... Maybe. hmm So could you just change the song writer bit to "Pending" or something or just leave it blank, I'll tell you when I can be songwriter, because I have a lot of homework and studies to get through.

nope. I want many people to like our music, so the best way to do that is to make it neat, cool, and diverse. we could make the first song a love song, the next one a rock, the next one a soul and the next pop , ect. What ever genre and orders you want big_smile thats bassicly your job:

Pick a genre
Make the lyrics
Give oppinions on what instument we should use here, or what we shouldnt add there, ect.
Whatch the song become well known on scratch
Repeat as many times as you want.

THeres alot of desion making...
But youll do fine ^^

okay, I'll be a guitarist and also a songwriter. as for genres that I may write and/or suggest, I recommend:

folk rock
folk rock, as seen in modern-day bands and musicians like the white stripes or jack white, and past bands including many like the beatles.

indie rock
indie rock, a form of commercially reclusive alternative is emphasized by bands like modest mouse and the strokes.

alternative rock
basically just unorthodox and gritty rock music, key to bands like pearl jam, smashing pumpkins, nirvana.

britpop
acoustic, alternative sounding music common from bands like blur and oasis.
