It'll be another two hours before it's even done downloading though, apparently, which kind of sucks.

I dunno, man. It seems like you'd need to have a Mac.

Haha, Lubuntu is installing right now.
So glad the default browser is Chromium.

ikr. Anyway. Ideneb just finished downloading. I'm trying it out now.
Edit: I think this will work. So far no errors, and when I try to burn the iso, normally I'll get an error. This time the only error I got was that my disk isn't big enough.
Edit: Just tried it. I selected USB to be booted, and then it said "Please remove all media devices. Press any key to restart." I removed everything but my monitor, keyboard, and thumb drive. Then I pressed any key. The computer restarted, and I choose USB again. Then I got the same error. ERG!!

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? First I tried iso to usb, and that stopped responding. I then tried with another thing similar to it called ultra iso. That worked great, but then when I restarted and booted with usb, I got remove disks or other media. Press any key to restart. Again, I removed any disks I had in my disk drive, and everything but my keyboard, thumb drive, and monitor, and tried again. Same error! Anyone know why?

Woop! ANOTHER STINKIN VMWARE ERROR! "A fault has occurred causing a virtual CPU to enter the shutdown state. If this fault had occurred outside of a virtual machine, it would have caused the physical machine to restart. The shutdown state can be reached by incorrectly configuring the virtual machine, a bug in the guest operating system, or a problem in VMware Workstation.Click OK to restart the virtual machine or Cancel to power off the virtual machine." I got all the way to the part where I choose where I download mac, and then it downloads until it says one minute remaining, and then I get that error. Any suggestions?

It is annoying that I am trying to install a program (Wireshark, I've learned lots about how networks work already) which needs me to install a few libraries via Terminal. Not too bad, right? Well, I go ./configure, and what do you know, now that library needs another library which needs ANOTHER library. Still, I don't think I'll be using XP very much on there anymore...

Can't you install it via Synaptic where it'll automatically get all of the require packages?

Are you going to buy the Lion thumb drive?
