Scratch in Education!

Help to make Scratch more educational with LearningWizard. We currently have no projects which is why we need YOUR help! You can help fellow Scratchers learn by posting projects in LearningWizard. Just make an educational project that fits into one of the following categories:

-Reading
-Math
-Science
-English

Note: You NEED to know what you are talking about before you start creating educational projects!!! We can't have a 5 year-old making projects about algebra!

Make sure that the project title is totally related to what your project is about. In the project notes make sure that you have written the age of the students that your project is designed for. The instructions for how to use your program must also be included in the project notes.

After you have uploaded your project, add it to the category (gallery) that it belongs to.

To log into LearningWizard and help the Scratch community become better educated, you might want to know this information:

[User name and password removed by mod]

Thank you and we hope to see lots of educational projects soon!

Re: Scratch in Education!

Please do not post usernames and passwords onto Scratch, Showing passwords would allow spammers to get into that account and spam with no punishment whatsoever. Reporting.

Re: Scratch in Education!

Sharing credentials for an account, especially publicly, is not a good idea. You can't trust everyone and it can lead to a lot of problems.

Of course, your intention is very good. Might I suggest making a gallery for this sort of project? That is perfectly within Scratch's guidelines and gives you more control over the quality of the projects.

Re: Scratch in Education!

Yeah, make a gallery. That would be much safer.

Re: Scratch in Education!

Too bad there's not a better way to get this out. Oh well. I will just open up a gallery for suggestions and pick and choose projects. Thank you for pointing out the dangers of posting account info. And I see that Harakou removed it. Its too bad that there are people who spam and would take advantage of a good idea with a good cause.

Re: Scratch in Education!

New topics have been added! Now you can also submit projects that have to do with music and art!

Re: Scratch in Education!

I have created a kindergarten math test.
<a href='http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/LearningWizard/2500401'><img src='http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/LearningWizard/2500401_med.png' width='425' height='319' alt='Scratch Project'></a>
Please share your thoughts and help us by remixing the project to make it available for all grades and subjects.

You can't embed projects into a post, but you can post a link to it. To do that use the [url] tags. Like your project would be
[url]http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/LearningWizard/2500401[/url]

Which would produce
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/LearningWizard/2500401

How does the Link to Gallery (it would be underlined and linked) work then?
