Forever Learning, Forever New.

Hello Scratchers
Do you remember when you first started Scratch? Who helped you settle in? I am very fond of Scratch [Website] and Scratch the program. I'm forever learning, and forever trying new things. If you look at my name, you can tell that I am very enthusiastic about science and technology. And with Science, you need to be curious. So here I am. Technology, is also something that is full of creativity. And programming, that is an art and skill that has more creativity than things I've mentioned  smile  Although, people may call me "New" I still think of myself as a, "Learner" Who keeps trying and trying, and likes to try new things and see new things. For, what would the world be if we saw the  same things again and again? Nothing would be new, everything would be the same. Programming is a skill that takes time, but once you know it, you really are invincible, because you can create anything. So, everyone... Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish. That will take you far  big_smile

Re: Forever Learning, Forever New.

I sure remember when I first started scratch. I was trying to make a platforming game, but I couldn't find the "not" block, and I didn't think to look in Operators. (Ahh, young children, you gotta love em'.) Anyways, I waited a week for my friend, who was slightly more advanced at the program at the time than I was, to come over and explain to me how platformers worked. Of course, now I'm a better programmer than she is.

Welcome to scratch!

Welcome to Scratch. That has to be one of the best speeches I have ever seen from a new scratcher.

Welcome to the forums, Scientific! To get better at programming, you may want to check out the Scratch Wiki's scripting tutorials. They're very useful!  wink

It has been a long time since I have actually checked on this post and I really appreciate everyone's welcoming messages! I have settled in quite well, and I would love to collaborate with ImagineIt. Yet again, many thanks!

Hello, welcome to Scratch! I find it funny how you have such a simple-to-think username, but nobody has thought about it.  big_smile

Bye 1.4!

[newtopic] I'm still looking for a project to create at the moment. Anyone for suggestions? I suppose going on "Project Ideas" might help of course. [/newtopic]

How about explaining something scientific?  Maybe with animated "experiments?"
