I am going to a programming camp!
I just got an offer from a camp asking for me to come over there and take one of there classes. I am going to be working with a bunch of kids on a RPG type of game. So this is how the game is going to work:
You will be able to communicate with other kids online
You own a city, and you have to build it fromthe ground up
You can work at different jobs in your town, or just choose to be the mayor
The bigger and nicer the city, more people will want to join your city
How does it sound? Would you play this game? What are you most excited about to see in the game? Do you have any other questions/suggestions?

The software is called BlueJ. A lot of famous games were made using that software!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlueJ says nothing about famous games made in it, all it says is that it's for educational purposes. Sorry to burst your bubble.

BlueJ is an IDE, not a programming language. 
If they meant that lots of famous games were made using Java, then yes, that would be true. BlueJ? Probably not.

Actually does sound cool! Good luck! I wish I could go to a programming camp somewhere

My family is driving on a trip across America, and my mom's friend is designing a game that sounds a lot like this. In Chicago, my mom wants me to give her some ideas since I'm really into maps and stuff so she thought I could help with that stuff. You think it might be the same game?
