Save the Dolphins

Hi everyone,

Right now I am going to be talking about something serious.

More than 20,000 dolphins off the coast of Japan get slaughtered everyday for there meat to be sold all around Asia. The dolphins get killed at a place called The Cove. But that is not the only placed they are killed, In the U.S, Dolphins are sent off to the cove to be killed.

"If you knew dolphins were dying to entertain you, would you still pay to go see them?"
                                                           - From the video in the links below

So please, share this [For some reason, the link is not working, please type this in on the youtube search bar:Kids Speak Out Against Dolphin Captivity - NEW PSA] video with at least 3 of your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, and anyother social networking site you belong too. If you don't have a account on any social networking site, share it with you friends at school, share this with your family, anybody you know.

You can also buy a T-Shirt to help stop the killing of 1,000's of dolphins everyday. To buy a t-shirt, or just donate money, please visit this website: www.dolphinproject.org

Please help!

Thanks!

Re: Save the Dolphins

And this is different from other meat-providing animal slaughter?

I love beef, and ham, and bacon, and fried chicken.

I will not get behind this if the best reasoning people can give is, "They're cuter," "They're more social than those," "It's morally wrong for some random reason that cow-slaughter isn't!"

I'm not discrediting your support or the cause, but could you provide me with some context?

Re: Save the Dolphins

I'm only supporting this if they're actually endangered.

You said that 20,000 get killed every day, but you also said 1,000 get killed. Which one is right?

Also, I may be incredibly heartless, but I find us killing off species to be evolution.

JUST, JUST NOT THE CATS AND DOGS.

Re: Save the Dolphins

Why dolphins? Why can't we support some other random kind of smashing marine life?

Please be aware that the forum sections Things I'm Making and Creating are for things we create and Things I'm Reading and Playing are for talking about media we enjoy. If it doesn't fit any of those criteria, then please don't try to force-fit the topic on Scratch Forums and/or use a Scratch project instead.
