The Creepypasta wiki is where I find my stories. However, if people DID say mean things about it, that's just their oppinion. Plus, it's a twist ending. We don't find out what he does to the man...

No, it's more related to Marble Hornets, where they were making actual exercise videos and added in some slenderman sightings in the background as a homage to Marble Hornets.

What are thumbnails? Little pictures?(I'm a computer geek, but I don't know all of the things. I had to teach mom how to do close ups on the screen.  )

Thumbnails are pictures.

In this case, they are Scary pictures. After seeing Smile, i vowed to stay off of any site that had to do with creepy pasta.

Yeah. The full story was that a family's husky got ahold of some false teeth, and they took a picture of it. They put the text "Smile! God loves you!" under it and posted it on their email to send. It eventually became viral and some people found it creepy, so thus the pasta was born.

It's kind of like "Mr. Mix". It's about a cursed video game that came out mid-2010 that only had 200 copies. Then, a boy named Owen finds the game used and buys it. The story is all from Owen's prospective, but the prospective changes later on.
