What is the swirly thing beside the views icon in the Scratch 2.0 website design? Tell me if you don't understand what I mean. Thanks!

My best guess is that it's the number of remixes, since it's the only thing missing next to the other ones look like favorites, love-its, and views. (I doubt it's downloads, considering everything will be online ).

Yep, it looks like remixes. It is a strange icon for that though.

They already said that it won't be entirely online

That's true - the project editor will be downloadable. I think that feature will be very useful in situations where you're not near any internet connection.
