Hello i recently purchased a LEGO MindStorms NXT Robotics Kit. I would like ideas on what king of robots to build. I will be using NXT-G to program the robots

Once you have tried all the default ones, try modifying your favorite ones to achieve tasks, such as for the tall guy "walk around, searching for a color" or something.

then, try building your own to achieve tasks.

I had a friend who made one that always points north...didn't sound that hard, but it's an idea.

Ah yes, it seems like one of the biggest challenges is just deciding what to make. big_smile

I made a crane once, which I was rather proud of. Sometimes it helps to just look around your room and try to think of something you'd like your robot to interact with, and go from there.
