I think that you should be able to edit messages that you've posted on someone's project or gallery. After you have messaged, you will have 3 minutes to edit it if you spelt a word wrong or something.

The 3 minutes would stop people from posting a mean comnent, waiting to see if the user has seen it and then edit the comment to say something different, because it's unlikely that the 2 users would be online at the same time, and even if they were the mean commenter wouldn't know that. There would be a 'last edited by [username]' like on the forums.

I think this has been suggested before and declined, but without the 3 minutes that you have to edit it. Tell me what you think
