While technologically behind, the large selection of games make up for it. The 360 is great too, but just doesn't appeal to me as much.
And Wii U will be even better. It will have Wii backwards compatibilty, GameCube games on the Virtual Console, and a better selection for hardcore gamers.

Thank goodness Wii U will have better graphics. I have a Wii and an XBOX, and I enjoy my Wii a lot more except for sports games. I can't stop playing FIFA 12 on my XBOX at the moment.

I prefer the PS3 to be honest, probably because my favourite games are racing games

I'd recommend not supporting Electronic Arts right now, due to the fact that they block people that are pointing out that they don't know jack about testing games.

I agree on how the Wii is the best... Crossing my fingers that the Wii U won't end up like the Xbox 360.

It should have all the good things about the Wii and all the good things about the 360.

I don't care if it's 1080p, 720p, 240p, or even negative 1000p. It doesn't matter how many p's a console has if the games aren't fun. Not saying PS3 games aren't fun, but the majority of the fun ones are also available on the 360, a system that retails for $200 less at this point in time. The Wii, unlike the 360 and PS3 actually has... *gasp* THE COMPANY GETTING OF THEIR LAZY BUTTS AND MAKING THEIR OWN FREAKING GAMES!

Yes, the most of the fun games are also available on the 360. The 360 though, doesn't have the quality I prefer.
Also, Sony isn't a game developing company. Sony wasn't meant to be a game design company, Nintendo was. So of course Sony won't be making their own games.

Graphics don't make a game. The Super Nintendo from 1991 is my favorite console EVER, and it doesn't have new gen graphics.

He was saying you should have researched the graphical quality of the Wii U first.
Very rudely, but still.

Oh, yes. :p
I guess I meant graphical capabilities.

I think the wii is the best because it's not just all shooting games, like the other two. However, wii struggled in graphics quality, which Nintendo used to do well with. In 2001 when the GameCube came out, it was on top for graphics, well, ps2 was kind of equal. Xbox came out later, so that had a bit better graphics. However, then Xbox 360, ps3, and wii came out, and it was clearly obvious nIntendi lacked graphics quality. But Nintendo wii still sold well. Nintendo is forever the best and always will be. Sony and Microsoft started making systems in early 2000s, late 90s, and Nintendo started in the 70s. It has way more experience.

The 360 and PS3 have games other than shooters.
Elder Scrolls, Little Big Planet, Madden, Banjo-Kazzoie: Nuts & Bolts, as well as many other games (even more on their online networks). And why are shooting games so evil anyway?

Yes, they are a good thing to have. I never said they weren't. I said that it's superficial to be judging a console based on technicality.
And I still consider SNES and Genesis games to have great graphics. They've aged far better than the NES & N64.

Ahem.
Okay so this is coming from the owner of a PS3 and a Wii
:>
I love both
but like
The Wii is.. different then the PS3
it's like comparing

helicopters are cooler but apples taste better

In the games department, the Wii has stuff that I want. PS360 Has (that I would want):
LittleBigPlanet(2)
Gran Turismo 5/Forza 4
Fifa 12.
I can't be doing with shooters, but it's not like my mum will let me, anyway...
