Well, sure! Put me in the league. Remember my info:
Manager Name: Ads98
Team Name: Atlanta Hawks
Arena Name: The 'Highlight Factory'
Conference: East
Okay! But I'll have to move a couple of people.

Okay, thanks! That's eight teams now, right?
Btw, the draft is an auto-draft, correct? (An auto-draft is where the players are picked for you based on your draft position) Btw, here is the unofficial draft order (this may change daily until the actual draft happens):

Here is what "I" will do, I will do a random number give out. It will give each person a random number out of 8, and that will be their drafting order, 1 is first and 8 is last. Then I will input the list of players, and the computer program will spit out a random ten player draft, or do you prefer another way?

Sry, I didn't realize I was being so bossy. I just thought 'we' could 'rank' players. That way, there will be some 'order' to the draft. I'll show you what I mean.

Sorry -_- you are a great help and i was thinking, the computer spit out a pool of random players in 12, and i tihnk that due to draft order, YOU the manger get to choose which group of players u want

Thanks! And, Oh! I see what your saying. That would be awesome. One question: how would the program work? Wait, I think I may have an idea. If you've ever watch the NBA Draft, you will notice how on the sidebar of the TV, ESPN has 'Jay Bilas' Best Available' or something like that. Basically, it shows a list of ten players, ordered from 1-10, that are the best available for the upcoming team that is 'on the clock' (making their draft pick). We could do something like that.
Btw, forget about the 'free agent pool' I made. After the draft, when teams can sign and release players, teams can sign anyone, as long as they're on a playoff team. Remember, I suggested we make a maximum, of 12 players, ten of which will be chosen in the draft. How do you like that idea? (This way, we won't have to deal with keeping up with over 50 players that weren't in the draft)
So, when will this 'draft' be? Since team managers get to actually 'pick' their players, we should come up with some set time. Saturday afternoon would be good for me (anytime after about 3 PM EDT).

We could do the Top Ten list. But don't worry, the drafting groups consist of 12 random players and the ones that didn't make it are only about 8 so it wouldn't matter. There are ten groups to choose from and 8 free-free agents. I have formulated the list and i will post it on the website now so look at it in about 5-10 minutes

Okay, I'm not following. There are 8 teams, correct? That means there would need to be 12 rounds. And I thought you said the team manager would be able to pick their players.
Or are you assigning teams now?

Okay I will change it, and randomize it again and do a new pool per round and have 12 rounds then.

Or are you assigning teams now?I'm not sure really. The problem with picking is that there are TOO many good players and we can't have unfair teams, but assigning eliminates that problem but is kinda weird. But picking is kinda complicated so now I need your decision, what do you think we should do.
Okay, I think this is what we should do.
1.) No offense to any of you, but I think I know the more about NBA players than all of you. What 'I' would do is create a 12 round draft, with 8 players in each round. No Free Agnecy (unless someone releases a player after the draft).
2.) This is how the draft order goes: I will rank the players (1. LeBron James, 2. Kevin Durant, etc...). But here's the catch: the draft order won't be 'final' until the day of the draft, because NBA players 'skill-levels' are constantly changing. Then 'you' will randomly select which teams go 1-8.
3.) I would make this draft an 'auto-draft' and a 'snake-draft.' By auto-draft, I mean a player is assigned to a team based on what position they're picking each round. By doing this, teams will still be randomized. Lastly, by snake-draft, I mean the team that picks first in the first round will pick last in the last round and so on for all the other teams. This way, no team will have a fair or un-fair advantage.
How do you like this?

Hey, I'm about to update my projected draft rankings to include average scratch ball points (NBA effiency stat) and injury statuses. This way, team managers will have an idea of who they may be possibly getting. Btw, how's the draft order coming along (am I picking first)?
