New Scratcher looking for project feedback!

Hey everyone! I'm fairly new to Scratch, and looking for advice on my projects to make them the best that they can be. If you could check out my Kitteh project or any of my other projects on my profile. and let me know what I think or give me any suggestions for improvement, I would highly appreciate it, and even give you feedback on your projects! Please help me out  smile

The link to my kitteh project is right here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/emilyt22/2426397

Re: New Scratcher looking for project feedback!

Good game, the drawings are really nice, but it sort of ends abruptly (that could also partly be because it is a work in progress). I too am a fairly new scratcher (on the website) although I have been doing Scratch for six months to a year now. Could you also check out my project, just click my account name to see them.

Re: New Scratcher looking for project feedback!

Kitteh:
Great graphics and nice idea but I agree with scratcher5000, it's a bit short. Also, at the start, I wasn't really prepared and it started talking before I was ready  smile  You might want to include a script

when gf clicked
switch to background [first background v]
rest of script here
that way, the background will reset every time you play and press the flag.

I've also looked at the other game. I'm not sure if you imported the graphics, but they're good. A tip that many new scratchers (myself included) often need is, to walk, use this script:
when gf clicked
forever
if <key [w v] clicked>
move (5) steps
end
end
Also, the
if on edge, bounce
block could be used for walking and flying.

You can't really see my projects becasue almost all of them are on my computer! I spend ages making them and then eventually become bored and start a new one, leaving the first project unfinished.

This is the thread for emilyt22 to post her games. If you want to advertise your games, make your own thread.  wink
