Carmelo Anthony - NYK
Chris Bosh - MIA (Team Clinched Playoff Spot)

Dwyane Wade (INJ: Rest) - MIA (Team Clinched Playoff Spot)
Russell Westbrook - OKC (Team Clinched Playoff Spot)
Deron Williams - NJ (Team Eliminated From Playoffs)
By the way, I suggest you only include NBA players from team that are going to the NBA Playoffs, and I suggest you start this 'league' when the playoffs start. I just think it would be easier that way, instead of starting it at the end of the season.
By the way, the NBA Playoffs start April 28th. Sorry for the long post...Thanks! I made a post on the website, i'll take this into consideration/ I will post this and update this on the first post.
I think you should choose 2 Nba players and 8 from college. As a rule.
Um...In case you haven't notcied, College Basketball is OVER.
Btw, I don't think I'll create a team, but I would like to help 'manage' this league (kind of like a deputy commisioner in the NBA). Is that okay beyblade4?
Take that back, I may create a team.
Btw, I suggest we have a max of 12 Players (PG/SG/SF/PF/C + 7 Bench Players) on each team, with a minimum of 9. But in order for this to happen, I have to come up with a new 'free agent pool'; one that features the starting five plus 6th man of every ' NBA Playoff' team. That would mean 96 players can be chosen from, plenty enough for twelve players on five teams. In fact, if everyone were to have a full roster (I count six teams because I will probably eventually create a team), 34 would still be left, which means you could sign, release, and trade players! Remember, I suggested the league start on the day the NBA Playoffs starts.
OMG, since when has Jason Kidd, Ray Allen, and Amar'e Stoudemire been 'elite' or top 10 material? I may understand Stoudemire, but he's been injured too much. I think the top ten NBA Players (by Position) are:
PG) 1. D-Rose, 2. Russell Westbrook
SG) 1. Kobe Bryant, 2. Dwyane Wade
SF) 1. LeBron James, 2. Kevin Durant
PF) 1. Kevin Love*, 2. Blake Griffin
C) 1. Dwight Howard, 2. Andrew Bynum
*Kevin Love's team has been Eliminated from the Playoffs, so I would replace him with Josh Smith. Please take these ten NBA Players into consideration as 'elite.' I don't think your list is bad, I just don't 'agree' with it.

Can I pick anyone from the list?
I suggest you pick someone from that list that is on a playoff team, but YES. Remember, I suggested their be a minimum of 9 players on a team, and a maximum of 12. But, I will be coming out with a list that includes 128 NBA players (8 players from the 16 playoff teams) because I anticipate this league will have 10 teams when it's all said and done. Right now, the list I suggested doesn't nearly have enough players for 10 teams to have at least 9 players.
Btw, I don't know if you accepted me or not, but if you did, I would like to draft/sign the following players:
G Russell Westbrook
G Kobe Bryant
F Carmelo Anthony
F Josh Smith
C Dwight Howard
I made a list of players we can choose from here.

Okay, I'll add him, but I don't think he'll give you many points.
Hey beyblade4, I think we need to come up with a 'clear-cut' scoring system.
I suggest we use the NBA's 'efficiency' stat to measure an NBA player's performance. This how it would work:
Each team MUST have at least 9 NBA Players on there team, with a maximum of 12. 5 Players must be in the starting five (PG, SG, SF, PF, C) and at least 4 players will be on the bench. Now, with the schedule, I suggest we start the season April 28th, becuase that's when the NBA Playoffs start. Each game will be played over a span of two days (ex. Game one: 4/28-4/29, Game two: 4/30-5/1, etc,..). This way will fit better if we are to use the 'efficiency' stat to measure a players performance. Unlike in the NFL, NBA teams play multiple times a week. But, during the first round of the playoffs, 8 teams play each day, which means every team will have played by the second day of the playoffs. This is why I think games should be played over a span of two days. The first day could be the first half, and the second day could be the second half of the game. That way, there could possibly be a box score.
Now, here's where the NBA 'efficiency' stat comes into play. Since every team will have at least 9 players, with 5 starting, and at least 4 on the bench, each player will get Scratch Ball points for each game he plays in, based on his efficiency stat. But, this is the important part: Only the starting five's points will be counted, not the benches. This way, team managers will have to choose who they want to start and sit, and stacked teams won't have so much of an advantage. Also, only guards or guard/forwards can start as PG or SG, only forawrds, guard/fowards, or forward/centers can start as SF or PF, and only centers or forward/centers can start as C. (In layman's terms, You can't have Dwight Howard playing PG, or Chris Paul playing Center. You also can't have five players that all play the same position starting)
If you are wondering how the NBA efficiency stat works, try out my project. Just go to www.nba.com, go to a game, and look at a player's statline. Punch in the stats in the order they are asked, and the project will tell you the NBA player's efficiency stat for that game.
Here's an example of how a game would go (this is not the teams actual rosters, it's just an example):
GAME 1: April 28th - April 29th
New York Taxis (130 pts) vs. The Fighting Monks (114 pts)
G Chris Paul - 24 SB points Derrick Rose - 21 SB points
G Dwyane Wade - 23 SB points Kobe Bryant - 22 SB points
F Kevin Durant - 27 SB points Blake Griffin - 23 SB points
F LeBron James - 30 SB points Pau Gasol - 23 SB points
C Dwight Howard - 26 SB points Andrew Bynum - 25 SB points
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Al Jefferson - 23 SB points Josh Smith - 22 SB points
7) Paul Millsap - 21 SB points Marc Gasol - 21 SB points
8) R. Westbrook - 21 SB points Dirk Nowitzki - 21 SB points
9) Kevin Garnett - 21 SB points Carmelo Anthony - 20 SB points
red = winner
blue = loser
(Notice how bench points aren't counted)
If you have any questions (this can be confusing), feel free to ask! Btw, I will be updating the status of injured players daily for your convenience

Nice! I will do so! But first, after everyone joins and is informed, we will draft players in the order they signed up. But one player per round, And great idea.
Offline
Okay, great! We're all set! Maybe the draft can be scheduled on a day, maybe on Saturday. I will sort the players for the draft. Wait, do team managers get to draft players, or is it an auto-draft? I also recommend we have a snake-draft, in which the draft order is flip-fopped after each round. This insures that the team who picks first in the first round won't have an unfair advantage throughout the draft.
