You might want to also post this under Educators where it will be viewed by more adults. What more would you like to know? Maybe we can answer some of your questions on the forums!

I just joined the site and have been wandering around in total awe and thoroughly enjoying everything from images to info. One of my sons is very artsy so I can't wait to share the site and several links with him. There is some amazing work here.

What is this wedsite all about?
posting your Scratch projects, and remix other people's projects! welcome to scratch!
Yes fruit was right about what he was saying and in addition to what fruit said scratch is a simple programing launguage in which you can create many many things!Scratch is builded by putting Scratch Blocks together in the way you want the sprite or stage to react.Scratch should be very easy for you if you have done other programing launguages such as Flash,Javascript,Logo, and things like that.
Like us scratchers say...Scratch on!

Hi Lilmomma148 and welcome to Scratch. If you have questions on your projects, just post them to the Forum and you should get an helpful answer pretty quickly. As to where to go...I'm not sure what to tell you, it really depends on what you are interested in. You could post your interests in the Forum and let people find you

Hi I'm Kat036!
My hobbies include obsessively changing my user icon every few days or so and of course browsing all the cool projects on Scratch! I've only uploaded one basic animation but can't wait to make more.
I like the attitude around here: for the most part friendly, laid back, (and clean!).
Keep up the good work everybody.

I've tried out Scratch and I really like it, I find the puzzle-matching system great to start off before doing some coding!
Welcom clanger and Jac1! I hope you have a great time with Scratch. If you have any questions just post them to the Forums

Hi from Spain!
Just came across the Scratch world and I have to congratulate you for the system!
I just had a quick look but it seems ideal to introduce kids to the world of programming.
Gonna research a bit and surely start bombing the forum with questions
