To make a (link to project), just type the project's url into a comment. To make another topic, click on a forum category, and then look for the link to the right above all the other topics that says "Post new topic".
however, some topics you might not be able to post new topics, like annoucements and FAQ

First, you need to get to that person's My Stuff page. You can get there by clicking on their username pretty much anytime you see it. Or, you can type this into your browser
scratch.mit.edu/users/NAME
but you put their actual username where I have put NAME. My page, for example, is at
scratch.mit.edu/users/Paddle2See
Once you are on their My Stuff page, look in the upper left corner of the screen underneath their picture and there should be a link that says "add to friends". Click on that and then click on the OK button that pops up next and you are done!

I understand what you mean!! Yeah, YOU'RE friend with the guy but HE'S not friends with you. 
Why am i doing that? I'm not even on the scratch team!!!

Go to the person's profile. It'll give you the option to add them as a friend. Click on it do make them your friend. I advise that you don't go around randomly adding people to your friends list; only add people that you actually become friends with.

Hey jessica75, you can comment on other Scratcher projects and galleries by simply going to one of their project or gallery pages and using the comment box.
Everything is better when you add a little cheddar, because when you have cheese your life is at ease
