@topic: Nice bow. is it just me though, or is the string curved while the "BOW" part is straight?

The string is black, the bow is made of aluminum.

It does work, and extremely well. If I had pointed arrows I could kill someone (not that I want to).

I made it out of an aluminum bar (flexes quite well, suprisingly) and some thin rope.
Excuse the flame design on the top, that was the only duct tape I could find.  yikes

I once ade a bamboo spear with feathers stuck in the back. At best, i could throw it about 80 meters! I have also made three clubs, a wooden dagger and a wooden sword. THEY ARE USEFUL! Oh, If it sounds like I'm bragging then I'm not.  big_smile  M 'Friend' Dylan made a bow for a japanese project. He never made any arrows. For the same assignment, I made a Bo Staff. It was a broomstick painted black. Seriously, I should have made a bokken (Large wooden sword)
