Forum notification

Whereas I can (at least partially) understand why there is no notification mechanism for both forum posts and comments, it would be nice if at least one could see in the Scratch "notification bar" (the same where you know if someone sent you a comment) if the forum posts you are involved in have been answered by someone.

I think this would belong in suggestions.

If you are using Firefox, someone in AT DID actually create a greasemonkey plugin, I believe, which displays your main site notifications in the forums  smile

One second, I'll look for it....

That was me, and i put it in MAC. Here it is.

This might be possible in 2.0. I was just talking to Lightnin, and he said that the forums will use the same system as the main site, for 2.0.
