Ooh, here I go... I'll try.

Thrax was reading a book, and his claw set it on fire. "Not again." said Thrax.

No, it would have to be as close to 50 as possible without going over.

okay I will write more.

Thrax was reading a book about cells. He laughed at its hilarious incorrectness to him. He laughed and laughed, until the librarian told him to be quiet. Thrax only smiled sheepishly, closing the book. Later, he was joined by a 4-armed clone of Ozzy. The clone said, "Hello there, friend."

50 words precise.

Hmm...I can't really think of that much...

Ice glittered cruelly around him, brilliant, stark, white. Frost laced his pale face and clung like cold butterflies to frozen hair.
Utterly alone except for the bitter hiss of wind.
He had survived for ten nights, but he knew that he could not survive the next.

Snow began to fall.

50 words exactly.  smile

Nothing could have prepared me for the ghastly sight I saw that day once I returned home. Although the day at school had gone fairly normally, things back home had changed drastically. Entering the room, I noticed something was amiss. And in the fishtank, their bodies floated at the top.

Oh, dem fish. They like to die, you know. It's a popular occupation for aquatic creatures.
That's why I'll never buy a pet fish. They always die within a few months.  hmm

That snippet was inspired by the Lemon Demon song "Dead Sea Monkeys" and the Moxy Früvous song "River Valley".

Interesting challenge.  smile

He ran through the streets, weaving through the boisterous crowd. Chet’s hand tightened around his notebook as he narrowly avoided crashing into a carriage jolting down the cobblestone road. Then he tripped. The notes erupted into the air and were quickly taken by the wind. That was his last chance.

Yep, I always use the thesaurus when I want a more juicy word choice. Nobody likes a bland fish.  tongue

I'll attempt to write a story here a little later today, when I have more time.  smile

Danny woke up in the middle of the night. He picked up his sword, ready to fight. He looked around and seeing nothing fell asleep. Later, he awoke again and did see an ugly, deadly creature. He began his epic fight and finally slashed the monster… and killed it.

Tis not a story. Tis a letter.
Even if you posted all 189,819 characters, it would just be a Proper Noun.
Therefore I still win.

Hel- implying Help- implying this person needs help urgently for he was cut off- implying something horrid has happened causing him to need help on such an urgent basis.

Lea- implying leave-implying something terrible has happened to urge this man to warn you to leave and cut him off mid word.

So yeah, they do have a plot.

"Ardent"!

And uh, you guys realize that "Run" is a command and cannot, by itself, carry the plot of a story?

Nor can hell and leave.
