Scratch

Hello All Scratchers,
My name is Externity and you may have seen me lurking around on the forums. I am not really new, well I don’t think myself new because I have been working on JavaScript, Stencyl, and occasionally Python. I am in love with Nintendo and Apple.Inc and I found it so tragic that Steve Jobs died… I actually cried believe it or not, well my eyes were stinging I guess that counts!  You probably think me a fool for going on Scratch after I have been on JavaScript, Stencyl etc… But, sometimes I just want a programming language less complex and more graphical. So I plan to create many projects for everyone. All I really want to gain from my projects is to see happiness from others over the globe saying they enjoy what I have made for them. I love  creating something for another person to enjoy, I am currently working on a project called, ’Gravity Lift’ which should be released soon!

How It All Started
I sat down miserably at my desk, I loved ICT but I just wasn't prepared for this kind of thing, it was going to be boring I knew. "Class, have you ever wondered how traffic lights work? Obviously a man doesn't just sit there turning each colour green to amber. Traffic Lights are programmed." My Teacher said. This was starting to make me wonder what we were about to learn. "So, for our ICT topic we are focusing on Programming, and we are going to use a program called 'Scratch'." My Teacher then explained. "With Scratch you can create games and animations." She said. Something just clicked, this sounded so interesting, so when the bell went, I ran home logging onto my computer and immediately downloaded scratch. The next week, I showed my teacher what I have created. "Wow! This is brilliant, do you mind if I share this with the class?" She asked. "No! Please, I don't want a fuss." I said, but she showed them anyway. And so there it is...
