Well try downloading others' animations, then you'll get a rough idea of how they work. They mainly consist of switch to costume blocks, glide blocks, and broadcasts.

When you need help with scripts you should post it in the Help With Scripts forum though ( yikes ).

Well for the walking bit, just make several costumes and change them using the "switch to costume []" and "wait () secs" blocks. How do you want them to interact?
