I can't open scratch, it just says there isn't an available application to open it. It started a couple of days ago when my dad moved the scratchthumbs.db into my folder. It said that there was an application already named that in my folder, and he pressed replace. After that, I couldn't open any projects, even though the scratch icon is still on the desktop. I have tried re-dwonloading scratch, but it still can't open it. I have moved another scratchthumbs.db onto the desktop, but it's still not opening. Can anyone help?

Reinstalling it should do the trick.

Scratchthumbs.db probably has nothing to do with it--that file is automatically generated by Scratch if it's missing. The most likely cause: he moved something else. Are you sure he only moved scratchthumbs.db?

No other scratch related files are on the desktop, so I'm pretty sure he only moved that

What happens if you try to open a project? Do you get a Scratch error message? A computer error message? Anything at all?

What error message exactly are you getting? Is it from Windows, or from Squeak/Scratch?

I did get a computer message, but now it's fixed. I happened to be on the force quit page and I saw that scratch wasn't responding, I just force quitted it and it works now
