Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

I am half/half, B/W animation will take very long, but we could at least do some sort of D/P/PL animation. As for the maps, all you need is the trees, houses and your set. I would prefer it, if it was a more modern map, like a D/P map or a B/W map. The old maps don`t look so cool.

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

Can someone make a small drawing of what the Sea version legendary looks like? It doesn't have to be good, I just need a reference for when I sprite it.

Also I really like Zangoosers idea, Of all the sprites we have sprites we have sprited, can you all make 1 project that has all of them, it will make it easier for programmers like me.

Who's doing that? Max?  hmm

...Have we even decided on what the Sea version mascot looks like, yet?

I'll make a little drawing of it to get an idea; when it's done, can you tell me if it's alright?

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

You guys remember Crystalic? Here is his opposite: Perirex. It come from Periculum which is danger in latin, and Rex, which means king. It looks exactly like Crystalic, but it is not incased in a crystal. His ability is Future Sight, which allows him to change his type to the type that is super effective against the type of the pokemon he is against. This process takes 2 turns, however.

His signature move is Final Finale. It can only be used on the last pokemon on the 10th or higher turn of battle. It is also his type. It KO's himself and the opposing pokemon. This is the attack it used to defeat Crystalic in it's epic battle and seal it in a crystal.

Eh, "final finale"? Isn't that a bit redundant?

You try and come up with a better one. I just like Final Finale.

EDIT: Did I mention they can both talk? When the games are released, we should get an animator to make an animation series based off Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version.

"Last Gamble"? "Final Sacrifice"? "Bomb finale"? I dunno. XP
I also don't think they should look exactly alike. They're two different Pokemon, after all.

Changed the name to adaptability.

@Zangooser I imagined them as twins, but one is evil and one is good.

Twins? Alright, I can accept that. But, still, we should make them just a tiny bit different, and I'm not talking about one being encased in crystal and the other not. Maybe just a few different markings or something.

Look back at GenIV and under: There were no animations. They just had like the sprite move for tackle, or for a beam attack, they just put a beam there.

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

OK, so this part of the story takes place after the prologue:

"In that recreation that the two Legendary creatures had done, they had accidentally created two other Pokemon, Crystalic and Perirex. The two began fighting immediately, for Perirex was evil and Crystalic had a duty to stop it. After a long battle that the creators could not suppress, Perirex unleashed a great attack that encased Crystalic, and immoblised Perirex. During the time that the two couldn't move, their creators placed them on the opposite sides of Dosuo, a new landmass that [insert Land Version mascot name here] had created, solely for this purpose."

All I have so far. I'll add on to it later.

Ya know what, no signature. You have this useless dialogue to look at now.
