any way to close scratch but not stop game so i can start where i left

is there any way for people playing my game to stop and close the program and come back to it and start where they left off?

Im new so this is just an idea of how it would work.. you would have to download and whenever you wanted to save your game you would actually save the project. Then maybe when you open it back up it would be saved and you could stary playing again. Just an idea though. Try it out!!

well i havent actually been able to get the game extracted yet so im not sure what will happen once it is in .exe form but im hoping it doesnt have to be restarted every time or i will have to go with a more complicated programming and im not so sure i could do that it took me 3 days to learn scratch but its so easy.
