What is anti-time?A force that goes through the fourth dimension in a direction opposite of time. Since we experience duration only through time, we experience anti-time as a reversing of our history. But the fourth dimension makes sense in either direction.
BTW, I know how to freeze time. Make a field of anti-time with a force equal to the time around it.
What?

Time goes forward, anti-time goes backward. It's as simple as that.

Ok... if the 4'th dimension consists of time and anti time, what are tesseracts? (my sig)

A tesseract is a shape that exists in the fourth dimension, but because we can only see cross sections of the fourth dimension (which we interpret as duration), it appears to move.

It records the duration, yes, but time is making that duration. Without time, everything would be frozen solid. Nothing would be able to move, without the time there to give it time to move. Without time, there is no motion, so time allows motion. Proof: type your post with no time at all. It can't be done.EDIT: NO! I DONT GIVE UP! I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING!
Yes, time creates motion. However, it cannot create heat, because heat is made from energy. There is no energy in the 4th dimmension. Energy comes from the 3rd or lower dimmensions, the tangible dimmensions.
HA!First answer me this, what is motion?
@agscratcher
What is anti-time?
In physics, motion is a change in position of an object with respect to........ time.

Space.
I feel like these questions are either just questions, or you're leading up to something.

How does it change position? (science class, 6th grade)

Here's an interesting thing I realized: the relativity paradox.
If you moved clockwise around the earth's timezones fast enough so that you'd go back some days prior to when you wen't off on your journey, you actually would go back in time according to theory of relativity. However, it would have the potential to change history if you didn't do any of the things you did during your time before/after/whatever the journey. This is because you would be reliving those days, but wouldn't do anything you did. There wouldn't be a past self of you.
Got that? Good. There will be a test on this material.

No, I did not get that.

Basically, it's the ending of the first Superman movie.

You can't go back in time by flying through time zones (unless you were going faster than light). There are only two different days of the week on earth at any given time. If you flew around the world in 10 minutes, it would simply be 10 minutes later when you arrived back where you started.

It's just a name for a material that doesnt exist.

Exactly. Anything can be unobtainium. It could do anything as well. Therefore, our time travel/FTL/whatever theories could be proven.
Onto the actual thread, I have a new discussion point: parapsychology.

I had a thought.
You can't go back in time to change anything.
Why?
Because you'll know what happens, no matter what.
Say you wanted to dye Steve Job's shirts orange, for example.
You couldn't do that, because what's printed in history has already happened, and had it been different, it would have been printed differently.
If you could go back in time, it'd most likely be like what's mentioned in A Christmas Carol, where Scrooge sees all his memories, but can't do anything to them.
I know I shouldn't be able to think about this without frying my mainframe, but it's interesting to ponder.

BUT WE'RE NOT DONE WITH TIME!!
But parapsycology is cool too.
Thats like out-of-body experiences and telepathy, right?

Yes.
I know someone who's had OOOBEs and instead could feel from the consciousness of animals. She knows what it's like to die, because once she had one in a squirrel that got hit by a truck. O_O

Psychokinesis, telepathy, ESP, and yes, even the somewhat ridiculous pyrokinesis qualify. I'm not sure about out-of-body experiences, but hey, we'll include that for discussion purposes.
The reason I want to change from time travel is that it's been going on for around 100 replies already. We need some fresh and energetic.
