What new comment system is confusing? There haven't been any changes that I've seen to the comment system on the web site in quite a while.
There is an experimental new filtering system that is so far from working that it should not be on the web site, but it got installed just before students went home for Thanksgiving break. Turn it off by clicking on "show all projects" at the bottom of a "My Stuff" or project page.

i mean the system that has [blocks]<< the newest comment on top <and> the oldest 1 on the bottom. >>[/blocks]

bobbysq: we changed the order in which comments are displayed a while ago. It's interesting that you are the first one that has posted a comment on the forums about not liking it.
We thought it would be better to display the most recent comments on top so you don't have to scroll down a lot. On the other hand it does make it harder to read a conversation in order.
I would be interested in knowing what others think. By the way on YouTube they also show the most recent comments on top.

I also prefer most recent first, since scrolling down a long list to get to the recent ones is irritating.
