I went to a robotics / programming course over the summer a few years ago and we used this, as it's a simple programming language that pretty much everyone can use. I asked for a download of it, brought it home, and was almost instantly hooked.

School. Possibly the only good thing that has ever come out of going to school.

Totally agree. I heard about Scratch from my brother and school, but I started to take it seriously at school though.

My Uncle, summer 2009, gave me a list of educational sites, that could potentially be something to do. I noticed Scratch, as a sort of animation/game making software for everyone, and here I am!

My friends! They had been doing it for a while, and then they finally got me into it!

By my dad. I tried it in 2009 but was too young. 2 years later I joined so here I am!

Gifted class back in 5th grade. An option for a project we had to do was to make a game on Scratch. I did something else, but when my friend showed off his game, lots of people in our class made accounts.

I went to a class last Summer in a porogram called Saturday Academy. They have classes on Saturdays throughout the school year and weekly during the summer. The class was "Intro to Programming" and we were taught the basics of Scratch.
