Re: Super Mario 3D Land Review (3DS)

This is why I don't do reviews of games or TV shows. Everyone starts hating on people whenever they rate games an 8/10 or less. I know I won't be able to point out things I don't like; I'll get chewed out for sure.

And don't even ask me how fans react when their favorite game/show gets a 1/10.

I agree completely.
@Reviewer: I didn't like 3D Land at all, though my favorite Mario game was Sunshine. Weird.

Re: Super Mario 3D Land Review (3DS)

I honestly feel the same way you do. I enjoy games that are quite challenging, and Super Mario 3D land simply doesn't feel that way, with the almost cheatlike quality of the Super Tanooki and P-Wing. I really enjoyed Super Mario Bros Wii, despite the fact that it had the Super Guide Option for less-experienced players. I actually thought it was quite nice of Nintendo to add it, (being a hardcore gamer, I never actually found myself using it,) but this time, Nintendo has taken the "easy factor" too far. Even without the super power-ups to help you out, the levels themselves are simply a walk in the park for the first part of the entire game. Sure, the graphics are great, but unless you're a super hardcore mario fan, I wouldn't reccomend picking this one up either.
