This is the auditions forum you know.  tongue

I'm mixing the tracks right now, but the one thing that stands out is the background interference in your recordings. I guess I'll have to find a solution, seeing that the band has no more time to lose.

Yeah, realised that after I posted.  tongue  lol I'm so stupid.

Yeah, that was always gonna be a problem. If I could, I would buy myself a mic, but I'm gonna have to wait until my birthday or something to get one (my birthday's in august). When i speak stuff into this, it comes out nice and clear, but for some reason it hates me singing.

Also, I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR IT ALL TOGETHER!!!

Nor can I wait to hear the final result! I have the master tracks (the tracks sans vocals), so I can listen to them anytime. I benefit from being mixer.  tongue

I'll anyway try to work on the recordings you gave me and pass them through some filters. SC4 may work out.

That is indeed a benefit.  smile

I hope it does work out okay! Once again i apologize for the rubbish quality.

Lola, could you please redo the vocals for just Reload? In that recording, the words are inaudible. There's very little articulation. You sang it really well, but I need you to sing out loud. Maybe you were trying to avoid being heard by your parents and annoying bro?  lol

Please try to finish it by today, cause then Crimson Love will be out this weekend!  big_smile

Yeah, I WAS trying not to be heard. I can record it later though, because my dad will be out in the garage working at his car, my mum will be doing something out of the way hopefully, and my bro will probably be playing his DS in a trance, oblivious to the world outside of the Mushroom Kingdom  big_smile

As soon as I get the chance, I'll record it.  smile

Yep! It took a while because my friend is round until tomorrow, so I had to record in the study where the computer was whirring in the background. Sorry if that makes the background noise even worse!  sad

But I got it done anyway - http://soundcloud.com/candlii/reload-2

Our first album is out and this thread ought to be closed. We have a singer in the band already.

Can a mod please close this thread?
