Alright, so I'm sure that you've all done at least one of the following:
1) Made a thread in one of the various forum topics
2) Posted in a thread and had waited to get a reply
3) Found a thread that you find helpful / interesting
...right?
Well, here's what I'm talking about: once you leave that thread and try come back, even if it's only a few minutes after you left, you have to search the forums all over again to find that thread. And pretty much all of the forums are 50+ pages long. Really, who wants to be searching through the over 700 pages in the Show-and-Tell forum to find their thread and see if anyone has replied?
So what I'm proposing is a subscription system. There could be a little button in the top-right corner of the first post in a thread that says "Subscribe to Thread", or something along those lines. Click that, and, voila! You're done. Now, whenever there's a new post in that thread, you will be alerted via message, almost like the thread was a Scratch project and each new post was a comment. Of course, to avoid overloading your "inbox" with messages saying "ExamplePerson posted a comment on the thread We Love Chickens", "PersonExample posted a comment on the thread We Love Chickens", and so on, it will instead say something like "There are new posts in the thread We Love Chickens." That way, you receive only one message, but you understand that there has been one or more posts in that thread that you haven't seen. Sound any good?
Thanks for reading if you made it this far! (and are still alive)

You can use the "Show your posts" button at the bottom of the page to check this. If the box next to the title of the topic is blue, that means there are new posts.

...but for you Scratchers out there with 100 + posts, it'll be a pain in the neck to go searching through your posts for a thread. And forget about reposting in that thread often so that you'll find it in the "Show your posts" window, as that will probably count as spam if you have nothing of importance to contribute to the topic. This is a great idea.

Try going to your profile and enabling email digests. It might work. I think it sends messages about updates to threads you posted in. You can always disable it.

1. I'm like 99% sure that doesn't work.
3. It doesn't have our emails.

1-3 intentional?
And once I did it, and I got a couple messages. However, I found it useless because I check the forums so often. xD And how do they have our usernames and passwords? Communication with ScratchR.

Jeez why would you give your email to sketchy-looking sites?!
