Am I allowed to embed Scratch project into my website? I know how, and I know I should ask the people who have the projects- but is this OK with the ST?

I would ask them permission. They'll probably let you embed their project with credit.

If the Scratch Team didn't want you embedding projects, why would they have the feature there? :p

That would be pretty silly, wouldn't it? It's fine to embed your projects on your site. If you are embedding other people's projects - it's still fine since everything on the site is open to the public.

Out of curiosity, how important is the "Learn more about this project" part. Is it mandatory? Recommended?

It's not mandatory, but I believe it's recommended.
