Zelda III

I recently found some information about a third Zelda game to be released on the NES, but was cancelled in favor of ALttP for the SNES. This game was entitled:

Zelda III: The Triforce Saga

A "prototype" of the game was auctioned off to a Canadian game fanatic for at least $3000. When the copy arrived... It was complete *beep!* (kidding! But it was a horrible hoax.) The "prototype" was indeed a HOAX.

So with some research, I want help to rework the title to a good game for scratch as well as giving it the perfect NES look.

Well, want to help?

Re: Zelda III

I could make some music in FamiTracker if I have the time. Something similar to Zelda I and II's theme and overworld tunes, I guess.

Ok. Just make sure it still sounds like an NES Track.

Re: Zelda III

I would love to help! I was actually working on my own version of Zelda III, but I have not finished all of the sprites for it. I want the sprites to be new and different from Zelda I and II. I will keep working on the sprites guess. Is there anything else you need help with?

Re: Zelda III

Lol I totally forgot I offered help for this. Once either of you have something done, remind me in a project and I'll write some 8-bit stuff in Famitracker when I have time, as I mentioned. c:

Re: Zelda III

Wow, I never knew about that, I thought when they made link to the past, they just decided to leave the NES. I'll help you, can I just ask, was it intended to be an overheadveiw or a sidescroller like the 2nd one?

Well... I never found that out, but by the way the game is described, it sounds top-down styled.
