I've been developing a texture pack for a couple of days.
The main idea is to tweak things to my personal preference or ease the use of things (like seeing through doors better)
Right now I have this done:
*Orange XP Bar (favorite color, level numbers not changed yet)
*Chicken in the hunger bar is all brown (no silly red stuff, chicken doesn't look like that!)
*The moon does not have phases. (They did not add anything, and many phases were hideous)
*Glass is mostly transparent (the edges exist to certify that it is a block, so you don't act like a bird)
*The window in doors no longer have the bars dividing, for more visibility (some graphical changes to make the editing look nice as well)
*The background when loading up servers/maps/texture packs is a repeating face of a creeper.
*When wearing a pumpkin, you see fine. (Be silly, pain free!)
*Grass is one (brighter) color, as I didn't like that sometimes it got as dark as black. Used to be hideous.
*Cake looks like it is chocolate.
