Help For Palnas Vs Archara The Game

All right, so it's a basic game:
Palnas the Chronomancer attempts to stop Archara and his minions from taking over the Isle of Unity.
When you first begin, there's a tutorial, and then a map. There are three maps. First there's Palnas's home island, Chronocanvas. Then there's Bascinias, and then the Isle of Unity. There are cutscenes.
When you pick a map, you have to get through a platform level(or two, or three, or four, or five) and then you battle the stage boss. There are five stages in each map.

I joined Scratch yesterday, so I don't get how to make the scripts to work. SOMEONE HELP!!!

I joined Scratch three years ago and based on my experience, that is something quite difficult to do.
Especially for someone who just recently joined.

But it is possible.

If I had the sprites, I might be able to help you.
The cutscenes will be hard because you will have to draw the animation and all.

But nice idea!

This sounds like a pretty complicated project, but it is definitely possible. What I would do in your situation is take it one step at a time. Pick a specific feature of your game to make, and then learn how to do it. Once you've done that, pick another thing. Don't try to start with anything too complicated or you'll get frustrated! (I'm guilty of this habit...  smile .) Once you have all the pieces of the game, put it all together!

Don't hesitate do ask any questions on the forums!

Yeah!
Listen to what silvershine said!

That is what I found will help in long and sometimes complicated projects.

Another thing is to frequently test your game.
Test it, build more, test it, build more.
This way, if you test it and it is somehow not right, you can easily know where you left off from building and can fix the problem (hopefully) and continue building.

I learned this the hard way because I got too in to scripting and then when I tested it after a LONG time, it was completely messed up and I had no idea what scripts I needed to fix.

If you need help, ask what feature or part in your game you need help on and someone on the forums (like me) would be glad to help you!
