but lets not discuss who we are going to vote for. It might make the other candidates feel bad.And thus circumnavigate the entire point of the thread? Uh, NO.
That's kinda what we're SUPPOSED to do here, y'know.andresmh wrote:

Because discussing candidates totally ISN'T discussing the elections.
Yeesh.
OT: Does this mean that the old mods will step down? They've done a brilliant job, so they have.

I don't think it would be easy to discuss an election but not any candidates...

No.

Thus we are discussing the Election.

We can vote for who we want to vote for

You can't vote yet. But when you do vote, you will most likely be ranking the candidates in order.

I don't think you can vote yet. The list of candidates will be announced Monday, April 9, and elections will be held Wednesday, April 11.

@SilverDomination RedRocker is 12. I remember he told me before...
1. My parents would not want me to run (also, I entered fake location, a fake birthday that I use when registering on pretty much any website, and an email address that I hardly even use)
2. I have school and other priorities
3. I'm only 11...
Also, my parents think that I should make more projects (I agree with them though), and they got kinda disappointed that used the Scratch to program less and less in favor of the forums and the TBGs....
EDIT: Oops, didn't notice that this topic already had... 7 pages and I was looking at the second page
Wait, are the times and dates based on EST? Just asking

All the nominees look great!
Sparks and Silvershine stood out in particular to me. They both seem trustworthy and nice.

I don't think any of the existing community moderators are stepping down, and I certainly hope not, they're all doing an amazing job. I think it may be part of their move towards making all the necessary changes for the move to 2.0...

Well, demotheses has already resigned, and and there are only 3 current Community moderators so yea

Aw, sparks, you halved my chances of getting elected by volunteering
The competition I have all seems extremely trustworthy, mature, and responsible. This term's election is lucky to have such great participants!

Naw, you stand a pretty good chance and I'd be quite happy to see you get through - remember there's more than one place available I completely agree, too, there's lots of Scratchers running this term who will have what it takes so I think I'll be happy no matter the results ^_^

I know, everybody says there going to run but they end up not running...

What do you mean -- are there not enough candidates, or are the speeches too short?
Offline
I expected at least twenty people to enter .__.

Well, they might keep all of them for the elections then. I remember the latest elections, I think, there were very few candidates due to the higher age limit (it actually was 14 that year).

Yeah, true. I think they might still narrow it down to six or so...

Is it possible for me to redo my speech? It seems... short.
