I'm fairly sure nothing like this has ever been made on scratch before. Mayeb a few card games, but nothing like this. Heros and Hamburgers (Name is subject to change when I find a word for villain that starts with H) is a card game in which you deploy cards onto a 64 space grid and have them battle it out. This thread is the official H&H thread. I will post progress info and other stuff. I'm hoping to have a demo release by late May. Until then, satisfy yourself with some early screenshots. Because scratch doesn't allow pics, just take a look by opening up the urls shown in a separate tab

The game will be based on a grid, and players place their units on the grid, and move them around.

Players win by using up the enemy deck. When the enemy has drawn the max number of unit cards (Default 10) he will no longer be able to draw new ones. Trap cards do not count towards your card limit

HISTORY
March 20th- The idea of a card game in scratch is conceived as an alternative to real time games, which are often laggy and don't work well
April 1st- It occurs to me I should actually do this
April 7th- Progress begins
April 15th- Progress starts all over as I realize that starting the game with the tutorial, which requires entirely different scripts from everything else, may not be a good idea.

Bump!
At the moment I'm making a tutorial that will be the demo and first part of the game. Then I will create a skirmish feature and finally a campaign. After that I'll just make small updates, patching glitches and adding cards

Scratch that. I'm not making a tutorial because I have to program a billion extra scripts, and one small mistake could accidentally let you use your Silver Dragon fight in the tutorial level or, just as easily, turn your silver dragon into a knight, the unit that was used in the tutorial.
So the demo will just be your first skirmish, and maybe a mission. I'm not sure if I SHOULD add a plotline though.
