Banners above Scratch Pages
YouTube has banners- what about scratch? It could make our pages look better and more professional- and maybe only certain people could have it?

That's a cool idea, and maybe we're going towards something like that with customisable user pages in Scratch 2.0! I don't really like the idea of limiting it to famous scratchers because it could raise some unhappiness in those who are not that famous, besides being extremely hard to define...

An awesome mockup! I know that the Scratch Team is very interested in more customization options in your own areas of Scratch - thanks for taking the time to show your vision of how it might work

I think that would be great, but maybe only selected scratchers can make them link to external sites? Meh, I don't know, but I think it would be good if the pictures automatically had rounded corners, like on newgrounds.

Thanks guys! And BritishBadger, what type of people would be able to do that? I did mention it could be just famous scratchers, but that would exclude the others... Maybe you could pay for a banner?

I think it could work like the "Scratcher" and "New Scratcher" status.
