Why is there a celebration day?

The idea came when I wanted to advertise my new projects. However, instead of having to spam everywhere I decided to release them all on one day. I then thought, well what if I ran some other things on that day too, just to add the extra publicity, and get some extra attention without relying on spamming.

So, on this special day I will release my new projects, run some activities and also provide extra services on my Project Club.

I could not think of a date to have this though. I then realised that my Advert Thread was coming close to it's half-a-year anniversary, so it was for that reason I decided to run it on April 29th.

What i'm looking for

Any idea which will help get as many scratchers involved on the day as possible!

how about start a collaboration thread, recruiting members, to go out and inform diferent scratchers of this?

also, start the advert/index thread society, recruiting the different threads, such as mine, into an alliance of some sort?

BRILLIANT! then it could be a celebration of all indexes. However, people maybe tempted to make their own just to get it advertised on the day.

Maybe say that it has to be a couple months old. (or just old enough so it was created before now.)

erm... looks complicated! also, how come on collaboration your eternity inc collab in stickied? whilst i agree it's a good idea for many reasons, my advert thread was taken off for being unfair to other adverts, but your thread will get more views now then other collabs, and which it does the same as other collabs- makes stuff (except at much better quality of course!)

whilst i know why they put it up there, i don;t know why they kept it when they;re trying to make things fair. if you agree with me, then perhaps you could report it and ask this (if i asked they might think i'm in a mood with them, especially because it affected me and may punish me for moaning at them, if you do it you would look better for having compassion or whatever the word is) if you don;t think there is a problem i will understand.

no, it's not for my collab. It's for a q and a thread I started. It's just managed by Eternity Inc.

i did! but it got 1 remix. perhaps if you remixed my project, then ask everyone to remix YOUR project instead of mine we may have more luck. I've just been given a warning off admin for what came across as spamming, so I need other scratchers, like yourself, to do this for me desperately. I'm trying so hard to make this day work but I'm very close to being banned by the admin team. I'm wondering whether this day should happen or not, it's just bringing me as much trouble as my stupid advert thread.
