You guys should totally check out YouAreMinecraft. It's this awesome server which aims to get thousands and thousands of handmade statues of Minecraft skins, all facing towards a statue of Notch. So far over 11,000 separate, player-made statues have been made. The point of it is a sort of thank you to Mojang, the world will be shown to Mojang eventually.
When you join you can type /start and you get your own private plot of land with a statue of the default skin. You can edit this to your own skin. And it's free obviously and you don't need to do any registering stuff. Just go onto the server and type /start.

Luckily, I'm British and have a different time zone. :3 Although since the UK is close to Germany there are at least a hundred Germans chattering about in a language I don't understand.  tongue

mightnt always work, but refresh an internet page, open minecraft again, clcik refresh very quickly and it should light up the server green. join quickly then wait while it says logging in, and it will do that until theres a free space.

Does anybody else make a map with a goal? Like once I decided to make a railroad, so I set up a mining base, collected a ton of gold, iron, and redstone, and built it.
