Charles Dickens Offical Topic

Hello! Welcome to the offical topic of Charles Dickens. Please correct me if this is a duplicate, even though I checked  wink  So what are your favourite Dickens books? Also, have you ever wondered what the rest of the story would be for Charles Dickens' "Unfinished Novel"?

Re: Charles Dickens Offical Topic

I've only read A Christmas Carol and half of Oliver Twist. He's a good writer when I'm in the mood for something more old-fashioned-among-other-things
I wanted to read my brother's copy of Great Expectations, but he refused on the grounds that it was "the most boring book in the world"

I see. I know, when I feel quite in a old-fashioned phase, Dickens helps..

Re: Charles Dickens Offical Topic

Was it him who did that one with Scrooge in? I had to be the narrator in a play of that once .__.

Re: Charles Dickens Offical Topic

Charles Dickens is quite an excellent author. We read a bad play version of "A Christmas Carol" in school.
