I'm not sure if I should post this project here because it was made with panther, but it is a huge one that I am making. Currently, it is similar to an MMO, except that I don't know how to use Hamachi to connect to the internet and create a real MMO. However, it should be able to connect together as many players as scratch can handle, even though it will be awfully slow. These are it's features:
* 4 Way Scrolling with over 25 current scrolling images to move across
* Random object generation including Houses, Trees, Shrubs and more
* Multiplayer connection in local network
* Top Down 3D Like View, 2.5D
* Multiplayer Chat functionality
* 3D NPC Skeletons that attack you with arrows
Features to be Added:
* More Objects to be generated
* Inventory System
* More terrain and area variety
* Ability to enter buildings like houses and purchase or talk to in-game characters
* Weapon and Health System for players
* Improved chatting system
* Pause menu and Main menu
* Game Economy and much more
This game is going to be great, it is already similar to games like Diablo except that it only has 0.1% of the game area to explore. Much more will be added. Unfortunately, random terrain creation and objects couldn't be created through Scratch. So I used Panther's cloning ability. I will post some screenshots as soon as I add the rest of the objects. Thanks smile

How could there be multiplayer over the web? That's impossible with scratch (I think).

It's totally possible! There have been many chat projects (which are multiplayer) created. There are even a few multiplayer games (that support 2-8 players) out there as well. Though there aren't any full blown MMOGs yet, but many people are attempting to make them.
