My Sci-Fi Universe
Hi guys, I've been building my own Sci-Fi universe for the sake of it over the past few days. This will be turned into a game.
Alright, heres a description. I'll posts the stories whenever I write them:
Beginning: By the year 2072, the planet Earth was extremely polluted. Humans, already having landed a man past the outer bounds of our solar system, have begun to populate other planets. Using a system developed in 2022 by Richard Gankmin, they were able to land spacecraft onto the surface of other planets and build cities beneath large dome, mimicking the air pressure on Earth. The first of these cities was, nicknamed the Capitol of the Universe (Capitol for short.) by a coalition of nearly every country on Earth. This gargantuan city was completed in the year 2057, and was beacon of hope for peace throughout the world. After its completion, over seven and a half billion people moved there. The goal of this city was to create a place where you didn't swear allegiance to a country, but a whole planet. This new city created its own government system. Instead of using money on this city, people would barter, much like in older times. It seemed like a utopia. An escape from the crowded environment of Earth, which had a population soon to surpass 70 Billion people (due to huge advances in medicine and health.) And the population which forced people to wear masks to purify the air. After a while, more cities were built, and on many different planets. A large city was built on several of the moons of jupiter, which used a system of flexible tubes for extremely fast travel between different sections, dubbed Brand New York for it's size. This is the political capitol of the civilization, while the Capitol of the Universe is considered the religious capitol. Now back to 2072. This year is a very historical year. In this year, the last official government on the planet Earth was broken up (the government of Newgypt, a country founded in 2014 by the Egyptian people wanting change.), and members of it joined the newly founded Galactic senate, rulers of the universe. Here is the Hierarchy of the senate:
Grand Council, Political Leaders- Three members, one selected from each party
Elder Council, Religious Leaders- Seven Members, one is the head of each officially accepted religion. We will cover these later on.
High Council, Political Leaders. One acts as a representative from each planet- Each planet may elect one, so this number may change.
Earthen Council, Political Leaders.- These act as representatives to each representative of a planet. They are not limited to a city, but they work with the high council to overcome issues. These are chosen based on the size of each planet.
Sectarian Council, Political Leaders.- These act as representatives to the Earthen council, and represent a sector. There can be around a hundred sectors on a single planet.
Citadelian Council, Political Leaders. - These act as representatives to the Sectarian council, and represent a specific city. There can be thousands of these in a single planet.
So we've setup the beginning of my universe, I will come out with a tale dating several hundred year later, and the technological advancements created, tomorrow!

i doubt that we'll land a man on a planet out of our solar system by 2072. Even if one could create the air pressure of earth, it would be practically impossible to transport billions of people to different planets out of our solar system.

No, right now they're colonizing our solar system, we've sent people outside of it but there's still not colonization on any distant planets.
Also, just think about how it was 60 years ago. We didn't have computers, and now we have computers which allow me to build an entire Universe on my own using a program which allows me to write codes with a drag and drop interface.

After the colonization of planets within the solar system, and the end to official government on earth, the planet earth became a breeding ground of crime and violence. Huge groups of people, numbering in the hundred millions would band together to form groups dubbed Anarchist Federations by the Galactic Council.
These Anarchist federations started by simply fighting on Earth, but without government intervention, they were able to advance their technology. By the year 2123, the first group of Anarchist federation ships were spotted outside of Earth. This was a simple experimental fleet which donned the white flag of peace, but that was just the beginning. By the end of that decade, already seven fleets from three different federations were out of the orbit of earth, and prepared to attack. The crews of these ships were extremely efficient, and it was said that a single ship could take down three Galactic Council ships. They slowly undermined society, broadcasting propaganda forcing people to turn on each other. By their peak in 2147, they had already taken over nearly 72% of the cities. The Galactic council was slowly falling.
TECHNOLOGY: Here's some technology created from our time to 2072.
Rynthetic Music- As the population of the earth grew, so did the number of hit musicians. This is due to the fact that they needed to please ten times as many people as they do in our day, and there were ten times as many people who were musically talented. But they still couldn't meet the musical needs of people. One band, known as Synthetic Bliss, created a musical system in 2037 called Rynthetic Music. This music would use advanced synthesizers to build a completely random Synthesization of music. A band would write lyrics, feed them to the machine,
and the machine would mimick the voices as well as the beat and tempo, and would put a randomized instrumental to the music. People could buy these songs, and get a brand new song every time they listened to it.
Synthetic Earth- Synthetic earth was a special material found deep inside the cells of the plant. This material, when brought together in large amounts, could mimick atmospheric conditions on Earth. This hydrocarbon was used to build the plastics in huge domes. How it works is the hydrocarbon would take in a gas, and then pump it out at very high speeds. It recieved energy merely from the sun. With a huge dome continuously pumping the air towards the center of the city, there was a natural layer of gasses surrounding the city, pumped by the Synthetic earth to mimich Earth conditions.
Solar Power- Although we do have solar power in our days, it is not very efficient. In 2042 though, a team of scientists were able to reproduce photosynthesis in plants, but in a labratory controlled environment using synthetic materials. These materials would take in the solar energy, and instead of using it to nourish and grow, it would synthesize it into other forms of energy.
Spaser- A type of weapon used in space, where theres no atmosphere (so you can't use fire.) This uses a system which builds up large amounts of energy, then pumps it into a small superconductor disc about the size of a fingernail clipping, then shoots it out of a hatch before it makes contact with anything else. Since it cannot lost that energy that has been pumped into it, it will have to retain it. The disc is built inside of super powerful insulators, so that it doesn't drip, as it gets extremely hot, but when its launched out, the speeds it reaches (Which are near the speed of light.) causes the insulation to fly off.
