ill help with programming or script writing, I do use blender so I may be able to make models, but I would rather program
Thanks FINGIN. Could you do scripting and model in Blender? That would be greatly appreciated. The more people we have rendering the same thing, then we can pick the best of the lot. This person will be given extra credit for the arduous task. The specs for the two characters I want at the moment are:
A man (main character) with black hair, a jumper, jeans and trainers. There should be a lady character as well; his accomplice (like in my series, the Alone Trilogy). She should have blonde hair, a shirt and a skirt with slippers.
If you want to program, I need a full-length script first. Until then, can you model? Thanks!

alright, sounds simple enough, just a few questons, will this be programmed in scratch? do you know how to import models to scratch? it can be imported into a mesh, anyway. what do you mean full-length script first? I can program in blender, a bit, but this I don't know if it's possible to be imported?

It doesn't matter if it can't be imported. We can always take poses of different angles. This will be programmed in Scratch. By full-length script, I mean someone who writes the storyline so we can follow a certain plot. Could you get to modelling the characters I told you of? Can I expect it very soon? Thanks.

alright.... ummmm.. you could just download models like that from a 3D modeling website as blender can take alot of 3D formats.. .obj. blend, etc anyway.. it won't take long to make those models.. I just need to get around to doing it, don't expect them soon but they might probably be done before the end of the week.. I do want to actually program with this. that is the reason I came here, to ask to be programmer. but i'll help with models either way.

wow, just read the character description, it seems that that may be a bit complicated, at best I can do human shape. but with clothing and detail is another story, texture with 3D models like that... is hard.. anything square is easy to textures but something like a human. I suppose you could just edit the snapshots so it wears stuff, i'll try though..

Can you download the models from a site like Blender and edit that model with slight changes? Forget the specs for the time being, just focus on a few. Don't worry, you can program once we've got the plot done.

alright, done a guy but not correct texture, anyway, how should I send it to you?
E-mail me at:

Please take snap shots of different angles too because I am currently on my old computer that does not have Blender. Thanks.

What pose(s) do you want them to have?
(I've finished rigging.)
I would like eight poses of each character: left, right, front, back, facing north west, north east, south west and south east (if that makes sense to you).
Do you think you could e-mail me those or upload them in a project?

Alright, but what arm position/leg position/facial expression would you like them to have?

For now, just them in normal standing positions from those angles I mentioned previously, will do. Please could you send them now so that I can see if they are good.
Then, I'll tell you more detailed arm positions/leg positions/facial expressions that I need to program the game.

The female is on my test account.
Press space for the next render.
Sorry, it's not that good, and the arm went slightly weird after I posed it.
I'll fix it soon.
The male model is currently being rendered.
The model has turned out better than I expected!
You are good at this, well done! Just a few edits though.
Her leg length seems too long. I'd say cut them down by about half the current length (that's the legs only), and then add the feet, with slippers. After you correct the arms, it'll be great.
Also, if you can, change her skirt to blue and with a lilac top. Maybe change the slippers to white.
You will fix the eyes, won't you? Don't worry about it too much though. If the eyes (when added) appear unnatural, then I can try to fix them myself later on.
Once again, good job and I hope to see the edits and the male character soon!

I will fix the female now.
The eyes will be added as well, soon.
Great! Fix the same things you just mentioned. I'll mention a change in clothing colour if necessary.
