Actually, Toon Link first made his appearance in Wind Waker (GameCube, was it?), then in the DS sequal Phantom Hourglass, and soon to be appearing in Spirit Tracks(a game where Link drives a steam locomotive, from the looks of the video I saw, will sometime wear a railroad conducter's outfit (LOL), gets new stuff, gets a new storyline, and gets to control Phantoms).
But, you are right about the latter.

Anyways, heal Pikachu by 4. I love Pikachu, pika pi!

(In response to the answers: So basically, the difference is that Link is 3-D normally, while Toon Link is 2-D.  Got it.)
I actually prefer Young Link to Link, but he's only on the Melee.

You still got it wrong. Toon Link is 3d. He has been since he first appeared, though he's switched to isometric veiw.
