Scrolling Background

How do you make a background that scrolls on and on forever? (I want the spotlight stage to do this).

yes, I advise you not to make the background scroll but simply create a terrain sprite, but yes do consult the wiki before posting on this.

I have a project that can scroll any background infinitely in all directions.
