There's your problem.
Well, the advice above seems good. As for a new charger, try eBay, Amazon, or the manufacturer. If it still doesn't work, you may need to take it in to a computer repair place to have the mobo/power jack replaced. This happened to one of our family's laptops too.How much would it cost. I'm probably getting a new laptop for my birthday which is soon, so I can just wait for that, but I'd still like to know, because I don't want to restart my pc every time I want to move to another room.
EDIT: Know any good quality windows 7 for less than 400? sorry if none exist. I'll go with any type except hp, which has braught me NOTHING but trouble
I recommend splurging on a computer that costs more, but has better graphics card for games. I made that mistake of buying a cheap computer and am suffering because of that. I also recommend Lenovo.

Reinstall your OS or do the equivalent of refreshing the memory on a PC. Could be something in the Kernel or something. That's usually the problem with macbooks and charging problems.

That's just because Apple fails. With the mac, it's an actual glitch.
