Well, the advice above seems good. As for a new charger, try eBay, Amazon, or the manufacturer. If it still doesn't work, you may need to take it in to a computer repair place to have the mobo/power jack replaced. This happened to one of our family's laptops too.How much would it cost. I recommend splurging on a computer that costs more, but has better graphics card for games. I made that mistake of buying a cheap computer and am suffering because of that. I also recommend Lenovo.
