I suppose this should be under "Things I'm NOT Making and Creating"
I got the JDK, correct version, and still, 'could not create the Java virtual machine.'
In addition, there is now also 'A fatal exception has occured'
-_-* WHY? I JUST WANT TO PLAY MINECRAFT!

JDK comes with JRE but yea, if you can't get the JDK, try the JRE.

How do you start it up exactly? What OS are you using? What Java version do you have? There are lots of different reasons it could be doing this, so you shoul post some more information before people can help you better.
Also consider asking this on SO. There are experts there.

Okay, all I did before it stopped working was download the Parkour (Better Moving) Mod. I didn't even install it. I was about to when I opened it up for a test. I had TMI and ModLoader. That's it. MC Version: 1.2.4.
I got the Java Development Kit, but that just added another error to the screen, as mentioned above. WHAT DO I DO?

You install TooManyItems after any mods.
If not, it'll crash MC.
I learned that the hard way.
Five times.

No, but it did't crash, and I did put on TMI after. It comes up with an error box saying 'Could not create the Java Virtual Machine'.
Minecraft doesn't even startup at all.
