The ESRB is a group that puts ratings on our video games to protect young children from blood, gore, alchol refrences, etc. in video games. For example, if a five year old plays an M-rated game like Cal of Duty: Black Ops, the child might br subjected to immense blood and gore. Even if an older person played the game, they will still be shown it. Also, here are some examples of the ESRB's ratings from their rating system:
EC (Early Childhood) is for ages 3+.
E10+ (Everyone ten and up) is for everyone ten years old and older.
M (Mature) is for people aged 17 and older.
Talk about the ESRB ratings here, if you wish.

But if someone OLDER plays it, there's no blood at all!

T for teens
And AO for adults only.

That's what it stands for?

Just lots of swears.

Well, except it's a fighting game.

It probably would have been rated that without Zero Suit Samus and the bloody knuckles when Master Hand dies.

Perhaps your thinking of "M"?
Because I doubt you're over 18.

Yeah, games that are rated AO aren't even legally allowed to be played by minors.

It's exactly the same as the original Super Smash Bros. for N64, but just with more action.

ESRB just confused me the Lord of the Rings Online. Blood? The closest that I really found was the Hunter ability that just happened to be called Blood Arrow.

Because it does. I know that not everyone will want it to, but it's here anyway.

The ESRB can be wrong at times, but that doesn't mean it's stupid. Some games aren't for kids. That's why they have rating, for Petes sake.

NOTHING worth watching or playing is G.
NOTHING.
That's why I look at ratings after I watch/play it.
Not before.
That's your opinion. Not mine.

Besides, it's no use to bump an old topic that should have been locked a long time ago. Can some mod close this please? I don't want people to flame me just for this topic. Thanks.
