Question about the information in the Scratch Wiki

I was reading a Scratch Wiki article, and it said this:
Shift-click-R before 1.4

Shift-Click-R in 1.2
Prior to Scratch 1.4, many other features could be found by using the "Set MIDI port" option. Experimental blocks and such could be viewed as well, but all this has been lost with Scratch 1.4 - however, there are other ways to access those areas.
But what are the other ways to access those areas? The article doesn't say.

And I also came across an old picture on the Scratch Wiki:
http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/File:Early_Scratch.gif
Could you just explain that picture? It looks really different than Scratch does now.

I believe that is one of the very early versions of Scratch.

Maybe it's the 1.0 pre alpha
And they're calling the 2.0 pre alpha "ye olde pre alpha"

That one's 0.2 or 0.3 I believe. There's a greyscale one that is definitely 0.1 and it looks a bit different.

What does the 0.1 look like?
