I want to be a curator because I think scratch is awsome! I want an opportunity to do something for scratch and maybe improve it.

That is not what curators do. They pick projects for about two weeks to be featured on the front page.

I would like to be curator. I would pick lesser known projects (max 35 views) that the scratcher must've worked very hard on, such as multi-level games or long stories. I would choose people that used their own work and pictures (no already uploaded Scratch sprites). I would choose a wide range of games and stories-not JUST puzzle games and not JUST funny stories. I would add new projects at least once every two days, to give many people a chance.

BTW I doubt you noticed it anyway, but if I can find it I'm gonna delete my speech. I don't wanna be curator anymore.

RedRocker, you don't have to do that. if you are considered for curator they first send you a message asking if you still want to be curator.

I am a new scratcher at the moment, but I believe that people should be honoured for what they have created, even if it is not very well-known. Being a new scratcher, I know what it is like when your projects aren't very known. It's like a voice, others hear other people's voice but nobody hears the people that have done good.

I would really like to be curator, but unfortunately I'm still new, so I'll train for curator until I'm a "scratcher!"

You probably shouldn't post until you're a Scratcher. (that goes for you too, Geekish! Keep trying!

I think that I would be a good curator.
I've been wanting to become one for as long that I have been on scratch. I get to feature projects on the homepage and get more views and comments on my projects. I'm sure anyone of the projects I curate will be the best that I can find. A curator would be picky and only choose projects worth curating. I will be willing to pick only the best projects to curate. Whoever's project I curate will be grateful that their project is featured. being a curator helps any good scratcher get popular.
I will do that.

Hmmm. Maybe I should try not to favorite almost every project that I love-it and pretend I were a curator. If this works, I will consider applying.
EDIT: I,m getting better but I could still improve.

Okay I think I'm ready:
I would like to be curator on scratch because it is very often that I find a project that is really good, but has very little views. When this happens, I Think "If only this project was front paged". I am particularly interested in art and music but I like games also. I haven't been on scratch that long but I have enjoyed every minute of it and would love it if I was picked for curator.

Intro
I would love to be a curator. Of course I can't just put that and expect to be a curator. I have always wanted to be a curator and I know some great projects that have 1-5 views and they are one of the best projects I have ever seen.
About Me
I first started Scratch when I was 9 years old. I knew nothing about programing. Though over the years I have gotten better and better at programing. Then I got bumped up to a Scratcher. Everyday I would look at the section where it said "Projects Selected by________" and I thought, what would it take to become a Curator. Well I realized that and that is why I am posting this Speech. I am currently working at the Gaming Archive picking projects to become either 1st, 2nd or 3rd. A lot of people love the projects I pick.
Projects I would Curate
Well I would pick projects that have less then 100 views. And the type of projects I would Curate would be games and Animations. And I would not pick projects that have 0 sprites and 0 scripts and just show the Scratch Cat. And also I wouldn't pick projects because the I like the user a lot, because it is a good game. And I would not pick for people who are popular. Like Scratchers who have over 1000 view on every other project they do. And the Animations would be funny, not boring animations. What a lot of people have been doing is making threads where the title is "Get Your Projects Curated". I might do this.
I hope you take this into appreciation.
Thanks!

How can it have the Scratch Cat on if there's no sprites?

Put the Scratch Cat into the background.

The only way I can think of to that is to take a screenshot of the Scratch Cat and import it, but then you'd have to remove transparency, and it'd be bloody annoying to do all that work for... what? :p
Off-topic alert. ^^
